Great Western Railway GWR - BR continued to use 2 bolt chairs up until mid 1960's from this date moved to using flat bottom rail. Two bolt chairs were used on the first bullhead concrete sleeper-ed track after the second world war due to shortages of timber sleepers examples can still be found on national railway network and private railways today. As part of a renewal;s program due to no suitable flat bottom materials being available the track work on the southern end of Exeter St Davids station was replaced on a like for like bases in the early 1980's this I believe to be the last network use of two bolt chairs.

Orders for collection at shows need to be place online by the Tuesday prior to the show this includes volume of a product line which could exceed the normal stock that I would take to a show. Once you have placed order please confirm collection arrangements by phone, there is a good reason for doing this.

Goods are dispatched on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week by the Royal mail and larger items via Parcelforce. At busy times due to the attendance at shows orders will be dispatch as soon as it is possible to do so.
